*Bread-Pudding with Vanilla-Sauce*


*Ingredients:

• 4 cups (8 slices) cubed white bread
• 1/2 cup raisins
• 2 cups of milk
• 1/4 cup butter
• 1/2 cup of sugar
• 2 eggs, lightly beaten
• 1 tablespoon of vanilla
• 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
+Sauce Ingredients:
• 1/2 cup of butter
• 1/2 cup of sugar
 • 1/2 cup well packed brown sugar
• 1/2 cup heavy whipped cream
• 1 t of vanilla

* Methods : 

Heat the oven to 350°F. Blend bread and raisins in  bowl.
Combine milk and 1/4 cup butter in a 1-quart saucepan.
Cook over medium heat until the butter is melted (4 to 7 minutes). Pour milk mix over bread; let stand 10 min.
Stirring in all rest pudding ingredients. Pour into a greased 1 1/2 quart saucepan. Bake 40 to 50 min
Directions for the sauce:
Combine all sauce ingredients except vanilla in a 1 liter saucepan. Cooking on medium heat, stir occasionally, to mix thickens and comes to a full boil (5 to 8 min). Stirring in vanilla.
To serve, spoon hot pudding into individual dessert cups; serve with sauce. Keep refridgerated.
